About

Each painting is a new beginning, a clean slate, and although the evolution of works influence each other, I feel no restriction in a procedure for creation.

My work requires a consistent finish. By working through processes of abstraction and figuration I can develop a meaningful relationship with the subject. My methods demand the destruction of forms and the finding of forms, from which I can explore the borders of bodily description.

The work is an effort to create a universal account of the experience with the other and to liberate the other from a phallogecentric economy.
